Japanese White Oak Bokken
This particular bokken is made of Japanese Evergreen Oak and is of beautiful quality to train with.
Its fantastic for contact training and is quite sturdy - mimicking the shape of the traditional Katana.
Imported directly from Japan, this bokken is natural in colour (non-stained) and is not the cheaper lacqeured version made of composite materials but a single peice of timber.
Evergreen being one of the more sought after woods for bokken practitioners.
