KAWAN KOTE
The Kawan Kote (vambrace) are a form of shino-gote used to protect the lower arm. These are a less traditional form of kote, crafted more for Gendai budō (現代武道 ) who needed lightweight forearm protection.
Kawan kote can be worn comfortably and discreetly under clothing to give some protection against edged or blunt weapon attacks.
