"Bushido Lineage " Wakizashi

This gorgeous wakizashi is handforged of  beautiful 1060 AISI Carbon steel and is beautifully polished .

Suitable for the hands of a professional only, in martial arts demonstrations and for the walls / sword cabinets/racks of collectors.

Outstanding attention to detail , authentic ray-skin on the Tsuka (White) with black cotton ito wrap.

The 1060 AISI Carbon steel blade features a nice bo-hi ( lightening groove/fuller) ,  and is also full-tang construction. The blade can be forged with a machined hammon or none at all to suit personal preference.

The Saya is black glosslacquered, with a black cotton sageo to match the ito on the tsuka.

Adorning the alloy Tsuba is an Aristocratic Samurai Warrior,....... a portrait of lineage & duty with honour.

Japanese Kanji grace the underside.

The blade is V/sharp and is highly polished using multiple grade stones. This truly is a striking piece and combined with the Bushido Lineage katana - form the Daisho Samurai set. (Big /Little)

An incredible looking Wakizashi with a classic heritage style.

    Good solid construction, double pegged.
Manuki on the correct side of handle.
Only small let down is that the sharpness isn’t consistent throughout the edge.,
