This gorgeous katana is handforged of beautiful 1095 AISI Carbon steel (full-tang) and is beautifully polished .
Suitable for the hands of a professional only, in martial arts demonstrations and for the walls / sword cabinets/racks of collectors.
Outstanding attention to detail , authentic ray-skin on the Tsuka (White) with black cotton ito wrap.
The 1095 AISI Carbon steel blade features no bo-hi ( lightening groove) so is a much more solid weight than its 1060 steel brother. With an etched hammon for aesthetics & full-tang construction , the 1095 Bushido Lineage is quite beautiful to handle for those that enjoy a fuller feeling blade .
The Saya is black lacquered, with a black cotton sageo to match the ito on the tsuka.
Adorning the alloy Tsuba is an Aristocratic Samurai Warrior,....... a portrait of lineage & duty with honour.
Japanese Kanji grace the underside.
The blade is V/sharp and is highly polished using multiple grade stones. This truly is a striking piece.
