Tsuno Oni Taisho Yoroi
In this edition, we are personifying the mythical Tsuno Oni or “Horned Demon“. This premium Tsuno Oni yoroi features a handcrafted and historically accurate Byo-toji Yokohagi Okegawa Dō (chest armor). It also comes with Byo-toji Momonari kabuto (helmet), ō-Tengu (removable bird nose) and real buffalo horns. The fine detail of the kebiki-odoshi style lacing (also referred to as “full lacing”) can be found on the shikoro (neck plating), sode (shoulder guards) and kasuzari (defensive skirt plating).
Even when crafting a yoroi to personify a mythical creature, our Taisho class samurai armor smith will use the most traditional methods with the most traditional tools and materials as possible. We are happy to customize the style of kabuto (helmet) , menpō (mask) and suneate (shin guards). We can also change the lace or paint color and add any additional options available on the drop down menus to customize your premium quality yoroi.
