"White Sakura" Katana / 1060CS / No Hammon Blade
This gorgeous katana is handforged of beautiful 1060 Carbon steel and features a highly polished no hammon blade.
Suitable for the hands of a professional only, in martial arts demonstrations and for the walls / sword cabinets /racks of collectors.
Outstanding attention to detail , authentic ray-skin on the Tsuka (White) wrapped with Shiro cotton sageo.
The Saya is triple white laquered with a shiro cotton sageo to match the tsuka ito.
Tsuba features a unique shape with 2 beautiful Sakura blossoms carved from the metal of the tsuba itself - a stunning work.
A rather beautiful piece combining the elegance of the white lacquered saya, white ito wrapping around the Tsuka overtop of a cream/white ray-skin.
It brings about a certain purity within this katana that absolutely makes other pale in comparison - a gorgeous finely made centrepiece and a true contrast to the standard black katana.
The blade itself is a sight to behold - with no hammon and a mirror style polish just adding to its already stunning appearance. This blade has been
sharpened to a fine/sharp edge and must be treated with respect as should all katana .
Stunning.

but like all things that get bumped in the long trips no matter how well packed had a slight 1ml paint chip on the saya you cant even really notice but dan was up front straight away with me about it and honestly I dont think I would have noticed unless he had told me about it first hahaha .. overall just a gorgeous peice . And Dan was amazing with any questions I had and treats his customers with the upmost respect professionalism .
Thanks again Dan for making this blade possible its absolutley stunning piece.
